New Spring Tea - Indian Tea Workers in a FieldRecently, in our last Tea Blog post, we chronicled all the exciting stuff going on with tea around the world. Springtime is generally the busiest season for tea plantations, with new growth flourishing after winter’s quiet. Workers speedily pluck the season’s first offerings, and they’re ready for a teacup near you! Here at CommuniTea Center, we’ve got spring fever, and we’re introducing our new spring tea blends! Get excited!!!

New Spring Tea: “Coconut Pineapple Paddleboard”

First up is our “Coconut Pineapple Paddleboard” green tea. Nothing says warm weather and balmy breezes like the tropical fruit flavors in this blend. In addition to the coconut and pineapple, we include the sweet stylings of guava, mango, and passionfruit natural fruit flavors, too. (95% or more organic ingredients; $2 sample/$10 2oz)

New Spring Tea: “Crispy Dragon” (Genmaicha)

Another new spring tea on the menu is our “Crispy Dragon” green tea. This is our version of genmaicha, which is a Japanese green tea with toasted brown rice kernels. Sometimes, the rice grains pop during the roasting process–that’s why people often call it “popcorn tea.” Our “Crispy Dragon” starts with sencha, which imparts a smooth, grassy flavor that complements the toasted rice perfectly (95% or more organic ingredients; $2 sample/$12 2oz).

New Spring Tea: “Guava Mamacita”

Finally, we happily introduce our new white tea blend, “Guava Mamacita.” It’s very light and refreshing, equally delicious hot or iced. We start with a White Peony base, then dazzle you with hints of guava, ginger, and raspberry. (95% or more organic ingredients; $2 sample/$9 1oz)
